A week in the life of a Cake Shed Owner - week 3

Wow what a week it has been at the Cake Shed Boars Hill. Only week 3 but the word is spreading and more people have visited this weekend.

I made some new flavours for people to enjoy. My Bueno/Nutella NYC Cookies where a great success and sold out so will be making a return for week 4. Another favourite was my red velvet cake, again another sell out so back on the menu for next week.

I was running short of cake by Saturday afternoon so decided to bake some more of the cakes so the shed was fully stocked for Sunday. By Sunday afternoon, I made the decision to have a special opening for Bank Holiday Monday. Thank you for all the people who came and bought cakes on Monday!

I've had some lovely visitors this weekend and not all of them have travelled by car or on foot!

On Sunday morning a cycling group had a pit-stop at The Cake Shed Boars Hill and I provided coffees and teas for them to accompany their cake.

Some local children rode their ponies to the Cake Shed Boars Hill and enjoyed cake and cookies.

Instead of just a slice of cake, do you fancy buying an entire cake to serve 8-12 portions? Soon you will be able to pre-order a cake for collection from the Cake Shed on Friday afternoon. Watch this space

Lastly, I'd like to introduce you to Stanley who is a dachshund Poodle? On Bank Holiday Monday he enjoyed some of our complimentary gravy bones whilst his owner tucked into a chocolate chip cookie!
